Turner Lake is located at the headwaters of Triple Peak Fork 1.4 miles east-northeast of Mount Lyell. Named for Henry Ward Turner (1857-1937), United States Geological Survey geologist who pioneered some of the geologic mapping in the Yosemite National Park area. Elevation: 9,580 feet
