The critically endangered California condor is the largest bird in the Northern Hemisphere. There are only 320 California condors left and of those there are 45 free flying ones in Arizona. With a wingspan of approximately 9.5 feet and an average weight of 22 pounds, this vulture has been causing quite a stir in Southern Utah.
On June 20th you will have the opportunity behold this rare bird. Zion will be offering free entrance into the park for this special viewing. Don’t miss out on the site of these spectacular birds and after watching them be sure to explore everything else that Zion National Park has to offer!
