6 - Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonlands.

There are seven national parks and eight national monuments. I just visited Zion last week and it was great. I loved walking the Riverside trail and listening to the Ranger talks.

There are 7 National Parks in the Grand Circle and 8 National Monuments.  National Monuments are part of the National Park system, so maybe you wanted the answer that there are 15 "Parks" in the Grand Circle.

There are seven national parks in the Grand Circle region of the U.S. plus eight national monuments.  Sounds like an interesting area to visit.  Hope I win.
