Court of the Patriarchs Viewpoint Overlook

This overlook lies on the floor of Zion Canyon approximately one and a half miles north of the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway. This site provides a viewpoint of three summits north of Birch Creek. The Three Patriarchs lie northwest of the scenic drive. Another peak, Mount Moroni, is visible from this perspective as well, it lies east of the Three Patriarchs. These four summits range in height from 5,690 feet to 6,890 feet. Visitors can walk a short distance across the North Fork Virgin River or along the Sand Bench Trail for better views of the Patriarchs.
