Great news: The community that's grown around Oh, Ranger! ParkFinder™, our new FREE mobile app, has surpassed the 100,000 user mark! We’ve put a lot of hard work and research into the app, but we couldn’t have hit this humbling milestone without all of the park lovers who downloaded our app, shared it with friends and posted such glowing reviews. Thank you for all your support!

You can imagine our excitement when we logged in to the App Store and saw that Oh, Ranger! ParkFinder™ had risen as high as the #3 spot on the list of Top Free Travel Apps, sandwiched right in between Google Earth and Yelp! Apple selected Oh, Ranger! ParkFinder™ as New & Noteworthy and What's Hot, both on the home page of the App Store. Apple also included Oh, Ranger! ParkFinder™ in their selection of Apps for the Great Outdoors and Great Free Apps, also accessible from the home page of the App Store. We’re absolutely thrilled by this recognition, and truly appreciate all the App Store reviews, as well as the positive feedback we’ve received online and via email from our community of park lovers.

Oh, Ranger! ParkFinder™ not only helps users find nearby parks and public lands all over America, based on their favorite activities, but also benefits two non-profit conservation partners: Tread Lightly! and the Student Conservation Association. The support for the app comes from the 2011 Ford Explorer, which has made generous contributions to both of these great organizations.

We’ve listened closely to your feedback and already have new features in the works. Version 2.0 of Oh, Ranger! ParkFinder™ will add social networking and other functionality that will allow you to keep track of all your favorite places and share them with millions of other park lovers. Please keep the suggestions flowing, as we both welcome and appreciate your input. The app is initially available for iPhone and iPod touch (it works on an iPad too), with an Android version to follow. In the interim, anyone can access the same information by going to OhRanger.com.

Thank you again for all your support! If you haven’t already tried it, please download Oh, Ranger! ParkFinder™ (it's free!), share it with your friends and family, and please let the community of park lovers know what you think by posting a review in the App Store!
