Tionesta Lake

Gamefish: smallmouth bass, channel catfish, crappie, yellow perch, bluegill, muskellunge and trout.

Camping: There are 48 primitive sites located along the shoreline that can be accessed by boat (or hiking) only. Two campgrounds (one developed and one undeveloped) are located below the dam near Tionesta, and another developed campground is located near Kellettville on the Tionesta Creek. These campgrounds are operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Comments: This 540 acre lake was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The average depth of the lake is 20 feet with a maximum depth of 40 feet and there is no-horsepower limit on the lake. There is a new access ramp below the dam in the outflow area which provides tailwater access.

The reservoir can be accessed by the boat launch at the dam, and canoe and small watercraft launch near Nebraska Bridge at the upper end of the lake.
