The Brookshire Creek Trail is a moderate 6.68 mile trail. This trail begins on Chinquapin Ridge Gap Road (FDR 385A) off Bald River Road (FDR 126) and continues to Sled Rinner Gap where the trail follows an old roadbed. The trail ends at Beaver Dam Bald. Parking is available on the Brookshire Creek extension at Bald River Road (126.)

Directions from Tellico Plains: Travel south on State Hwy. 68 for approximately 5 miles and turn left onto County Hwy. 610. Travel on County Hwy. 610 for approximately 1.5 miles and turn left onto County Hwy. 623. Continue for 1.5 miles and turn right onto FDR #123. Continue for 3.5 miles and turn right onto FDR 385A. This road will lead to the trailhead.
