Corral Creek Campground, lies in south central Wyoming. It is in the foothills of the Snowy Range, and is very popular among big game hunters seeking elk, deer, and antelope. Anglers also enjoy the campground, as the nearby creeks are full of trout populations. The campground is approximately two and half hours west of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Cheyenne is Wyoming's capital and offers plenty of year-round cultural activities and events. Whether it's sitting in the stands of a rodeo or shopping downtown, Cheyenne will expose you to the vast and beautiful wild, wild west culture.

    The Corral Creek Campground features 6 campsites, vault toilet, day use parking, and a foot trail to wade fishing. Each campsite contains picnic table, fire ring and grill at most sites, parking space. No pull-throughs. Water is available at the nearby Bennett Peak Campground.

  • Fishing

    From the Colorado border down to Sage Creek, the North Platte River is classified as a blue-ribbontrout fishery. This section of river is managed for "wild" trout. Rainbow and brown trout are the predominant game fish, with smaller populations of brook and cutthroat trout and walleye. A Wyoming fishing license is required to fish in Wyoming. Regulations are available from licensing agents.

From I-80, take Wyo 130 and Wyo 230 south approximately 38 miles to Riverside, then Wyo 230 east 4 miles. Turn left onto County Road 660 and go 12 miles on graveled road to Bennett Peak Road (BLM Road 3404) and follow it 6 miles to the campground.
