Fontenelle Creek Recreation Area
Overview
This campground is on the shores of Fontenelle Reservoir, created when the Green River was dammed. The area contains fishing and water sports within spectacular badlands. There are several historic sites from the trapping days and the western migration, like Holden Hill and Names Hill. The Fontenelle Creek Campground is approximately 10-miles south of LaBarge, Wyoming and is located on the west side of Fontenelle Reservoir. The facilities at this site include paved access roads, a fifty-five unit campground with toilets, picnic area, boat ramp, fishing access, fish cleaning station, playground, trailer dump station, and information regarding recreation in the area.
