Overview

The Lewis and Clark Lake is a Missouri River lake that has a tree-covered shoreline characterized by picturesque chalky bluffs and a great view of the Missouri Valley. The Lewis and Clark Visitor Center houses displays on the geology, exploration, early navigation, settlement and natural history of the area, along with a great lake view. The area offers camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, boating, sailing, swimming, bird-watching, and photography opportunities.

Seasonality/Weather

Summer Hours (Memorial Day - Labor Day): Sunday - Thursday - 8 AM to 6 PM, Friday & Saturday - 8 am to 7 pm Off-season Hours run from Monday- Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Closed November through March.
