Swans Falls Campground
Overview
The Swan's Falls Campground offers tentsites in a pine forest along the Saco River with access to wonderful day and multi-day canoe and kayak explorations. The campground is managed under an agreement with the Maine Department of Conservation - Bureau of Parks and Lands, the campground and river put-in are located in the Mt. Washington Valley in close proximity to the White Mountain National Forest.
The Saco River ecosystem is diverse and beautiful, but also fragile. Visitors can easily cause eroded soils, trampled vegetation, displaced wildlife, and polluted waters. While enjoying the Saco River, please follow the seven LEAVE NO TRACE principles.

Facilities include 20 campsites; one lean-to, picnic tables, and toilets. The campsites are located north of Fryeburg off of Route 5 on the Swan's Falls Road.
Activities
Boating
Swan Falls draws kayakers and canoers from near and far.
Bicycling
Visitors can bike along the roadside and on designated paths.
Camping
A small rustic campground with 18 wooded sites along the banks of the Saco River. Picnic tables and fire rings on each site. Water spickets and outhouses in campground, no hook ups although campers and RVs are welcome.
Fishing
Visitors are allowed to fish at Swan Falls.
Hiking
The campground offers short trails though the woods.
Picnicking
Picnic facilities are located at the campground and along the shoreline.
Water Sports
Swimming is permitted at the park, however there is no lifeguard so please swim at your own risk.
