Baraga State Park
Overview
Baraga State Park is situated a quarter mile south of Baraga along US-41 and overlooks scenic Keweenaw Bay of Lake Superior. Camping is available at 116 grassy sites or in the park's minicabin. Watching wildlife, fishing, hiking, swimming and boating are among the many activities of this park. The park now features five pull through campsites and 20 or 30 amp electrical service.

Camping
Camping options include a mini cabin, teepee, 116 modern sites with electrical service, and 10 semi-modern sites.
Fishing
Pike, trout, perch and salmon are available in local streams and in Lake Superior.
Hiking
The .75 mile foot trail provides an opportunity to explore a wooded area.
Picnicking
The picnic area offers picnic tables and fire pits/grills. A pavilion located in the campground serves as a covered picnic shelter for campers and is the location of many park events. This picnic shelter offeres electrical outlets and lights for evening programs.
RVing
Camping options include a mini cabin, teepee, 116 modern sites with electrical service, and 10 semi-modern sites.
Winter Sports
Trails provide an opportunity to view the winter landscapes. The trail is not groomed for cross country skiing.
