Foss State Park
Overview
Foss State Park is located in western Oklahoma on the Foss Reservoir. Foss Lake Lake offers 8,800 surface acres and is noted for its abundant fish species such as sand bass, striped bass hybrid, catfish, saugeye and for its excellent waterfowl hunting. Recreational activities in Foss State Park include hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, swimming and camping. Horseback riders will love visiting Foss State Park, as it also has an equestrian camp with an excellent multi-purpose trail for horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking. Foss State Park also features picnic areas, group picnic shelters, grills, and fire rings for visitors to enjoy their meals in beautiful outdoor settings. Comfort stations with showers, as well as playgrounds are located near the park's campgrounds. Foss Lake can be accessed within the park via the lighted boat ramps, and boat storage, and boat rentals are also available at the park's seasonal marina.

Boating
Six boat ramps are available in the park, with access to Foss Reservoir.
Bicycling
Visitors to the park will enjoy the mountain bike trail.
Camping
Facilities includes big rig sites, shaded sites and 35 tent sites. Waterfront sites are also available.
Fishing

Hiking
Hiking and walking on paved paths in the park provides visitors with views of Foss Reservoir.
Horseback Riding
Foss State Park has an equestrian camp with a multi-purpose trail for horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking. Horse rental is not available.
Picnicking
Several picnic areas and shelters with grills and fire rings provide natural settings to enjoy a delicious meal.
RVing
Foss State Park offers 110 RV campsites, 10 of which have full-hookups and 100 that are semi-modern. All sites are paved and offer 30 amp or 50 amp service plus water.
Water Sports
Visitors will enjoy swimming and water-skiing in the beautiful Foss Reservoir.
Seasonality/Weather
During the winter the Southside campground and bathroom remain open, but the Northside campgrounds are closed and gated and the bathrooms are winterized. Cutberth, Mouse Creek and Sandy Creek campgrounds remain open to RV camping in the winter, but bathrooms are winterized and unavailable. Boat ramps are available year-round in the Northside, Cutberth, Mouse Creek, Sandy Beach and Cedar Point areas.

Driving
From I-40 Exit 53, go seven miles north on Highway 44 to Highway 73. Then drive west 1/4 mile.
