Hugo Lake State Park
Overview
Located in scenic southeastern Oklahoma, Hugo Lake State Park is a long-established recreation destination that offers family fun, camping, boating, abundant fishing opportunities, and spectacular sunsets. Come relax for a day or a week in the park's serene, wooded setting. Recreational opportunities at Hugo Lake State Park include biking, picnicking, and walking or hiking along the area's scenic nature trails. The park also features a 56-slip full-service marina with a store, group picnic pavilions, picnic areas with grills and tables, and pontoon boat rentals.
In terms of overnight accommodations, the park offers 16 two-bedroom resort cabins, 10 primitive cabins, and numerous tent sites. All cabins feature a deck with a lake view and include fireplaces, heat, and air conditioning. Larger cabins are also fully furnished with kitchen and bath facilities. Whether visitors choose to camp in a tent or rent a cabin, Hugo Lake State Park undoubtedly provides refreshing and rejuvenating overnight experiences for all.

Boating
A full-service marina in the park offers pontoon boat rentals and other amenities to boat users.
Bicycling
Bicycle rentals are available in Hugo Lake State Park, allowing visitors to quickly get from place to place around the park.
Camping
Hugo Lake State Park offers both tent camping and numerous cabin rental opportunities. All cabins feature a deck with a lake view and include fireplaces, heat, and air conditioning. Larger cabins are fully furnished with kitchen and bath facilities. Kitchens are also available for rent.
Fishing
A variety of fish species can be found in Hugo Lake including sand bass, crappie and catfish.
Hiking
Hiking through the park's trails offers visitors the chance to see stunning views of Hugo Lake and sometimes even some of the areas wildlife such as deer, squirrels, and bald eagles.
Picnicking
A large picnic pavilion is available for group rental. Other picnic areas are scattered throughout the park for informal visitor picnicking.
RVing
RVing is not available.
Seasonality/Weather
Hugo Lake State Park hosts a 5k walk/run each spring.
