Travelers and adventure-seekers who are looking for a fun and unique adventure that appeals to all ages will love visiting the scenic Red Rock Canyon State Park. Located in west-central Oklahoma, Red Rock Canyon State Park and campsites are located down in the red canyon among the steep canyon walls. In addition to RV camping and tent camping, the park also offers scenic picnic areas, beautiful nature trails, a small fishing pond, and a delightful playground area. The canyon walls are a favorite among adventure-seekers for both rappelling and open exploration. During the summer, the park operates a swimming pool and a bathhouse (as well as an adjacent food concession stand). The park's group camp offers overnight sleeping in bunkhouses, and a kitchen and dining hall for meals or meetings, and is available for advance reservations. The park and surrounding area is also known for its good opportunities for fall foliage viewing.

The Canyon area campground remains open year-round, with one of three comfort stations available in the winter. The comfort station located within the Walnut Grove day-use area is closed from late October to April.



From the I-40 Exit 101, the park entrance is five miles south on Highway 281.
