Across the road from the campground is a picnic area where visitors find drinking water, tables and barbecues. There is access to Lytle Creek, which provides a fishing, swimming, and canoeing day destination. Local outfitters provide canoes.

Directions from San Bernardino, CA: Take Interstate 15 to Sierra Avenue exit north. Head north on Lytle Creek Road approximately 5 miles to the Ranger Station. Proceed past the Station a short distance to reach the campground / picnic area.
