Things To Do

Colleton State Park is the perfect spot for paddlers of all levels-whether experienced or in family groups. Guests can enjoy the surrounding scenery by taking a stroll along the Cypress Swamp Nature Trail. Also, guests can camp in either tents or RVs. The Colleton State Park is a great place to play baseball as it hosts a ball field. Various picnic sites are also available to guests and provide great access to the Edisto River. The younger ones can also enjoy a playground, but that's not all! The State Park is found close to I-95 along the Edisto, one of the longest backwater rivers in the country. Because of this river, it also makes for a great place for visitors to enjoy canoeing and/or kayaking. The "Edisto Riverfest" also attracts visitors every June. This Park can also make for a great pit stop for guests on their way to the South Carolina coast.
