Hi,
Thank you for your question!
Sequoia National Park has many must sees, but the essential sight would be the Giant Forest north of the Ash Mountain Sequoia entrance. This forest is filled with over 8,000 gigantic redwoods, including General Sherman, the largest living tree in the world. Second to the redwoods, would be the Tokopah Waterfall that cascades for nearly 1,200 feet. Thirdly, would be Moro Rock, the gigantic granite dome that provides fantastic views of the park.

Hope you have a wonderful visit,
Sarah

Thank you for your question!

This 39.3-acre park is nestled at 76th Terrace and No. Main, 3 blocks west of No. Oak Trafficway. It contains picnic grounds, nature trails, restrooms and parking. A spring and a stream keep watch over this secluded treasure.

The park does offer guided tours. Call the Barton Warnock Enviornmental Education Center at 432-424-3327 for more information. There are no specific guides for the Solitario; however, the parks website (http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/state-parks/big-bend-ranch) does offer maps and trail guides with information pertaining to hiking all the trails within the park.
