With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, Utah's newest state park is also one of its most popular. Boat and fish on Sand Hollow Reservoir, explore and ride the dunes of Sand Mountain on an off-highway vehicle, then RV or tent camp in the new campground.

    This is a great park for boaters of all kinds.

    Tent and RV sites are available with drinking water, fire pits, modern restrooms and showers.

  • Fishing

    Feel free to enjoy some of the quality bass, bluegill, and trout fishing and angling.

  • Hiking

    Plenty of open room to hike.

  • Horseback Riding

    Horseback riding is permitted.

  • Off Highway Vehicles

    OHV use on the dunes is extremely popular. Please contact the park for more information on rules for OHVs.

  • Picnicking

    Day use areas are available.

  • RVing

    The campground offers RV sites with full hookups.

  • Water Sports

    Kayaks, canoes, motorboats, and sailboats are al welcome here.



From I-15 take the Hurricane Exit 16. Travel four miles to Sand Hollow Road and turn right. Go one mile and turn left onto the main park access road and follow to the park.
