Things To Do

The Green River has long sustained the communities of western Wyoming. Here the river offers habitat for raptors and songbirds, deer, trout, and salmon. The recreationist can flyfish, hunt for big game or game birds, canoe and kayak in the river, or sit by the banks and watch the water flow. In June, this area is the site of a roundup of thousands of cattle- a real taste of the "Old West." The Warren Bridge Campground is a fee campground located off of US 191 adjacent to the famous Green River in Sublette County. The campground at 7,600-feet in elevation is surrounded by rolling sagebrush covered hills. The Warren Bridge River Access Area is located upstream of the Warren Bridge Campground. Visitors can enjoy an array of activities including fishing, floating the river, hiking, wildlife viewing, and picnicking. Restrooms are accessible and water is provided at each campsite. Enjoy the famous Green River here!
