The trail leading to Bridalveil Falls is one of the most heavily used in the Yosemite Valley area of the park. Because of it's heavy use it is best to begin this trail early in the morning before most park visitors arrive. The trail begins from the Bridalveil Falls parking area along eastbound Southside Drive. Follow the trail from the east end of the parking lot for a few minutes to a trail junction. At this junction bear right on a signed trail for Vista Point. This fork parallels a Bridalveil Creek Tributary and leads to the overlook of the falls. The route to the overlook is paved and suitable for individuals in wheelchairs and strollers. The overlook is wet with spray from the falls, so bringing rain gear is a good idea. Also, be careful, as the wet rocks can be very slippery. The total mileage for this route is a half mile.
